Be Here Now

"Be Here Now" is a short film by Parker Foster that explores the hidden struggles of a young woman battling depression and suicidal thoughts. Inspired by Foster's own experiences, the film offers an unfiltered portrayal of mental health, countering overly optimistic narratives. Starring Sarah De Baets, it won a 2022 Webby Award and aims to spark open conversations about coping and seeking support. Foster later followed up with "I'm Here," continuing the story.

Je Suis Là

"I'm Here" is Parker Foster’s follow-up to Be Here Now, focusing on a woman’s journey toward healing after battling depression. Starring Sarah De Baets, the film highlights hope, support, and the choice to keep going.

A cause for alarm

In this silent comedy, a couple's sanity unravels as their fire alarm beeps endlessly, defying all logic and every attempt to silence it. With the help of their nosy mime neighbor, they embark on a hilariously exaggerated quest dunking it in boiling water, hurling it out the window, performing an exorcism, and even offering it positive affirmations. Yet, the beeping persists. A playful homage to classic silent films, this 48-hour project turns a simple annoyance into an absurd, laugh-out-loud descent into madness.

The Panic in Prospect Park

In this Weekend at Bernie’s-inspired stoner comedy, two perpetually high friends stumble upon an unconscious woman in the woods and become convinced they’ve accidentally killed Lena Dunham, writer, actress and creator of HBO hit Girls. Paranoia sets in as they drag her through Prospect Park, searching for the perfect hiding spot—stopping only to take frantic hits off their joint. With logic clouded by smoke and panic reaching absurd heights, their misadventure spirals into a hilariously disastrous journey. A 48-hour film project packed with weed, worry, and the worst crime cover-up ever attempted.

Lost Love

When a woman discovers that her best friend has been sleeping with their friend's boyfriend, she confronts her. As tensions escalate and excuses are made, their friendship faces a tough test during the awkward and heated confrontation.
